New York City, USA
From what I'd heard from others I was expecting to be swept away in a sea of people along skyscraper lined streets....but the crowds were barely noticeable even in the financial district of lower Manhattan at lunchtime and the wide streets which seemed to go on forever were criss crossed by narrow avenues with terrace homes. It wasn't all the concrete jungle I'd imagined and there are so many different areas with their own distinct identity. We did alot of walking and in four days you could see most of the major sites in NYC but we weren't in any rush....it was nice to just hang out with our friends and enjoy being in this great, vibrant city. Good times and great laughs, it was what this trip was all about. Highlights included: -Seeing the twinkling lights of NYC from the Empire State Building -Surprise visit from Mikey! -Hanging out with Girlie & Luke -Valentines Day at Tiffanys -Dancing in the rain -Shopping in Soho -Paul & Steve taunting customers with their cupcakes in front of Magnolia -Sleep-eating at a late night cafe -Times Square at night -Steve's sushi -Steve!
