A ferry brought us to Egypt from Aqaba in Jordan. We spent some time in Dahab on the Red Sea and did an overnight trip to Mt Sinai. After that headed for Cairo briefly, then onto Siwa and Marsa Matruh in the West.

We then returned to Cairo to meet our friends and begin our Nile Tour - that took us from Cairo to Abu Simbel on Lake Nasser and most places between.
